My Jewelry Box is currently holding a contest in which contestants visit their website, choose their favourite piece of jewelry under $400, and get the chance to win their choice item by writing about it. Not too shabby right? And what girl in her right mind wouldn’t jump on the occasion? So here I am, writing to you about my favourite piece of jewelry under $400 for the My Jewelry Box contest.

After, more than an hour of trolling through the site, I chose the three-stone diamond ring in 10k white gold priced at $395. Okay, so it’s not the humblest of choices, but why not go for the gold? After all, everything begins with a dream and to reuse a tired cliché “diamonds are a girl’s best friend” and my ring finger is in dire need of a new acquaintance.

What first attracted me to this particular ring is how the three brilliant round diamonds rest softly between the smooth, curved shape of the white 10K gold ring. This ring wins my heart because of its striking elegance and unique design. Unlike regular rings, which are usually circular-shaped, the ends of this ring don’t meet, but rather flow out opposite each other, creating this wonderfully romantic fluidity adjoined by three lustrous diamonds. It perfectly blends classic elements with contemporary style which I like to think is an accurate reflection of my fashion sense. (Again, this is not the time to be humble folks!)

So there you have it. My reasons for choosing the three-stone diamond ring.
