What is Cosplay?

Cosplay is a term that was created by joining the words “costume play’ in order to form a single, shortened label. This term is used to describe a gathering of people where the participants where costumes that are taken from fictional characters in popular culture. Since the idea of cosplay is to interpret a fictional character the cosplayer will adapt the body language and mannerisms of the fictional character that they have chosen as their subject.

It has been said that prostitution is the world’s oldest profession. Which is of course impossible, because that would make it the world’s first profession.
